Day 85- 188.2

Still no loss...getting pissed off. I am going to do hard boiled eggs and shakes for as long as I can stand it for about 5 days.

I will not exercise tonight since I had only 4 hours sleep but starting Tuesday I am going to be consistent and add some strength training as well.

Also...I will start sleeping in my compression suit...(I have been dreading that)

I am not going to bother to weigh in until Saturday.

Day 82 - 188.2

WOW! It is amazing how LONG it takes to get back on track with losses after a ONE DAY treat. It just goes to show how important it is to avoid eating anything that is off plan. So this weeks losses will end up being ZERO! I am very sad about it..however I made the choice on purpose to have pizza last Sunday and knew that this would be the consequence for it.

It is VERY important to me that my losses amount to atleast 4 pounds by Saturday the 30th!

Day 81 - 188.2 its Thursday and I am still stuck at this number due to my indulgence. Its getting aggravating but I have to muddle through it. I did well yesterday but I am going to have eggs and bacon for dinner to speed things up a bit...also...not going to have cheese. It really slows things down. My goal for today is to clean my house. I am so tired of it looking sloppy and it makes me feel so annoyed and lazy.

Day 80 - 188.2

Still no change....damn treat days. I have stayed on plan without any problems at all. I am actually not very hungry and have to force myself to eat anything at all. I imagine it will be another day or two before I see the numbers drop. I hate that...but that is what I get for indulging.

Day 79 - 188.2 no change and did not get to exercise...but I ran around after work running errands so I really had no choice! lol.

My treat day was great and all. I mean, it got rid of my obsession with no-no foods...but boy has it messed up my tummy and everything else. I still feel pretty crummy from it. I am glad it will not be a regular type of thing. It is too hard to recover from.

Day 78 - 188.2 no post yesterday and my weight is still the same. I had a treat day and expect my weight to remain the same for a few days. I think I managed to go 3-4 weeks without any indulgences and yesterday I just said screw it and had some regular food items.

I am glad I got it out of my system so I can quit thinking about it.

Back on the treadmill or bouncer tonight.

Day 75 - 188.2 I am pissed. I wanted to see 187 today really badly. I had ground beef last night and it seems that red meat makes my losses much slower. I guess its back to stupid old chicken tonite so I can see what I want to on the scale tomorrow morning.

I only exercised for 20 minutes, I used my rebounder. It was too cold out to go walk on the treadmill in my garage.

I was ravenously hungry last night and ate too fast so I had an upset stomach too. BOOOOOO!

Since I have to post from home...tomorrow and Sunday my posts will be much shorter I am sure.

Day 74 - 188.6

Ok....this is really fantastic!

I forgot to mention that since Monday I have not only changed how much I am eating...but the time that I start eating.

I am up at 6AM and do not have my first calorie until 3PM. I am done with calories by 7PM.

I wanted to make sure I put that in the blog because at the point in my weight loss it seems to be having a real impact.

I did my  30 minutes of walking yesterday and feel pretty good.

I had 1 chicken thigh, 1 deviled egg, 2 ounces sour cream and a half cup of shredded cheese and my diet shake.

Day 73 -189.8

I made it to the 180s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am thrilled. I did my 30 minutes of walking yesterday and also will begin arm work. A friend on a forum I use (LowCarbFriends) has the BEST arms and I asked her for some pointers for a beginner. I am adding in modified pushups for starters...(my wrists are sooo weak...shame on me!)

I continued with very low calorie yesterday. 1/2 avocado, 1 deviled egg half, I chicken thigh with the skin grilled and 1 shake.

Feeling very good and not really hungry at all.

I just reviewed past blog posts and found that I spent 15 days in the "190s". I was very frustrated but I suppose that losing 10 pounds in 15 days is actually quite amazing. I will have to work on how impatient I am..tee hee. :)

Day 72 - 190.8 I did my 30 minutes on the treadmill yesterday and I ate very lightly. I was just not hungry. I had 1 shake, 1 deviled egg and 1 half of an avocado. More tomorrow.

Day 71 - 193.8 I was furious to see an increase today. I stayed on plan but I ate too much taco meat and ground beef in general yesterday.

TOM is gone as of now so I was hoping for a big drop and got screwed. I am not hungry at all today and will not eat unless I am.My goal this week is to be in the 180's. Enough said.

I think I will plan to have 1 shake today and some deviled eggs. Screw cooking today, I am too pissed off.

P.S. I am starting my 30 minutes of exercise tonight. Up until this point I have not had the energy nor the desire to exercise. I plan to use my treadmill and my rebounder this evening. Once I have established the habit of 30 minutes per day, I will more than likely choose a more aggressive routine. For today and the next 21 days I will focus on just forming the habit of exercise. I will allow myself to break the 30 minutes down into 2-15 minute sessions if necessary. I do not anticipate that this will be the case, but I will add that caveat just in case.

Day 69 -191.8

This weeks total loss was only 2.6. I am not thrilled but it is atleast a loss and not a gain or stall.
Last night I had the taco meat menu but instead of beef I used chicken. Everything else was the same. I am very excited to be so close to the 180's ! It will be amazing when I get there.

Ok...numbers are moving again slowly. I am happy they are atleast doing that much.
I made more deviled eggs last night and they are the best batch yet. Very yummy and filling.
I was very tired from TOM so I did some dishes, had my dinner, made my eggs, played with my dogs shortly and then it was off to bed. I am aiming to see 191.? tomorrow morning. :)

Day 67 - 193.4 .8 loss. I am not pleased though as stupid TOM is still not here and this week has been a bummer because I really love seeing daily progress on the scale. Yesterdays foods are listed below. My protein grams are a few higher than I was aiming for but I had an extra slice of cheese. My calories are still much lower than I had been consuming in previous weeks, but it seems to be all that I really need at this point since my fat is so high. I am very satisfied and do not think I need to push myself to eat more just to increase the calorie count.

Totals were great...I could not force myself to eat all that I had allowed for the day. My calories, etc are all very low. Much lower than previous days. I was just very full and had to leave it at that.

 I feel thinner though..its weird. I know I am losing,....I just have to wait for my TOM in order to find out what I have accomplished.

Day 65 - 194.2 still really no perceptible loss. I am glad that it is not going upwards in number though. I am still waiting for stupid, mean, sadistic, hateful, awful, evil TOM to arrive.

I did fine on my diet...stayed on plan but yesterday was a very hard and hormonal day. I was starving and could not stop thinking about food no matter what I did. Basically I was a total bitch! I went home and at immediately to get some fat in my belly and then took a 3 hour nap. This is what I hate most about TOM is the exhaustion and hunger.

I did do my fitday but its a real pain to post it here. I was right on target though. Tonite I am switching to chicken thighs....I have been doing a lot of beef and am sick of it now. :) I made more deviled eggs...those babies really are a life saver for sure. Another reason I am switching back to chicken is to lower my protein intake as I think it causes blood sugar spikes.

Ok...I am up two-tenths of a pound, but not to fingers have swollen up and I am certain that TOM is showing up today. I have stayed on plan and I am sure that AFTER TOM...I will show a big loss all at once.

I did not get to do fitday for 3 days because my keyboard is just terrible at home so I had to skip it.

Day 63 194.4 no change. I did not eat very much yesterday. It could be that my fat was not high enough to show a loss OR it could be TOM is coming. Day 62 - 194.4

Sooooo...I stayed on plan BUT I ate less....I ran out of deviled eggs. I had my two shakes and my taco meat dinner with sour cream and cheese...but no egg. I am sure this was why I did not lose a bit more. I am making more deviled eggs today!

I will paste my foods here once I enter them on fitday. I was not around to do it yesterday.

My total loss is 5.6 pounds for the week. My weeks start on Sunday for my calculations. This is a VERY successful week!

Day 59 - 197.8

Well, I guess I should be pleased with a half pound loss. Tomorrow I want to see 196.8!

Here is my food log for yesterday:

6.75 ounces (cooked) ground beef
3 ounces sour cream
1/2 cup cheese
2 diet shakes
2 whole eggs, deviled
.5 tsp onion powder, chili powder and garlic powder, cumin (could not get calories for this one)

I listed the seasonings I used on the ground beef because they do contain carbs, etc.

Calories = 1459
Fat = 98.8 grams
Carbs = 24.7
Protein = 121.3 grams

My percentages are:

Fat = 58%
Carbs = 7%
Protein = 35%

Day 58 - 198.4 I used to track my percentages of fat, protein and carbs. I was very worried that my numbers were too high yesterday...but the scale showed today that this was just what I needed. I am really glad because I was getting so frustrated!

Here were my totals:

Calories 1240
Fat grams 89.2
Carbs 34.5
Protein grams 79.9

Percentages come to:

Fat = 63%
Carbs = 11%
Protein = 26%

My foods were:
2 hard boiled eggs
2 shakes
2 eggs over easy fried in butter
3 slices of bacon

1 deviled egg
I whole raw avocado
2 servings of crystal light
4 black coffees

The blog has been really helpful, but I would encourage folks to use fitday to track total calories, etc if you are using this type of diet. It seems I am basically on Atkins OR Eat Fat, Get Thin. They are very similar.

Day 57 - 200.0 this is really pissing me off! TOM is still a week away and I find it hard to believe that I am already retaining water???? I stayed on plan all was kind of hard, but easier than I anticipated. I did the laxative tea with no results which is a bummer. I am sure that and TOM nearing are contributing factors but it is still getting on my damn nerves. If I do not see 199 tomorrow I will probably cry and have a real fit!

Day 54 - 201.2

So here we are...5 days since I had a treat and I still have not gotten back to 199...arrggghhh. I am happy that I am closer BUT what I really want to see tomorrow is 199. No treats this weekend. I am determined that I will NOT have any kind of break from this way of eating until the scale reads 190.

Yesterday I had 2 shakes, a very small handful of peanuts and taco meat on romaine leaves with sour cream and avocado. Oh..I also had a slice of cheddar cheese before bedtime.

Day 53 - 202.4

So, I suppose I should be pleased that I lost 4 tenths of a pound...but I am not! lol. I intend to not allow a treat day until I see 190 on the scale. That is actually a pretty big goal for me since my weekends are really very tough in the eating department. I do have a busy weekend coming up so I think that will be very helpful in keeping myself in line, so to speak.

I fully expect to see 201.0 tomorrow on the scale. I am going to do two shakes today and a light dinner. My laxative tea did not work very I have to do another dose of it today. I have been very tired by the time I get home so I have been blowing off my workouts. Also, it had dropped temperature here today as well and should be cold all weekend.

I intend to ATLEAST work my abs tonight. My neck is slowly getting better and working on the exercise ball should not be painful. I will set that as a mini-goal for this evening.

I am very displeased that I am 53 days in and have caused myself so many setbacks. I should have lost atleast 30 pounds since my start date and I have repeatedly screwed myself!!!!!

Day 52 - 202-8 no change. That was very saddening. I am doing a laxative tea today for obvious reasons. Yesterday I had 1 shake..the rest of my guac and 4 deviled egg halves. I should have added more mayo...I also had two slices of bacon.

Tonite I am making jalepenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon.

I have added vitamins to my routine. I usually forget to take them, but I have been making an effort to make sure I get them everyday.

If I do not see the numbers jump down tomorrow, I will have to re-evaluate what I am doing as at this high of a weight, I should see the numbers change each day.

Day 51 - 202.8

Ok...not as much down as I had hoped.

Yesterday I had 1 shake and 2 burger patties with pepperjack cheese and guacamole on top. I think next time I will skip the cheese. It is just a preference with the texture from the avocado.

Tonite I am making deviled eggs for dinner. I will also finish off my guac.

I expect to be back into the 201 zone tomorrow.

I wonder about these treat days. This sunday I am going to make an extreme effort to really lower the amount of treating I do. Spending 2-3 days to get back to my Saturday weight is a pain in the old wazoo..

Ok..up 2.2 pounds after treat day. I am still happy though as in the past my treat days turned into treat weekends!!! I finally did what I set out to do...woo hoo!

Day 48 - 202.0

Ok...added fat and voila! 1.8 pounds down. I re-read my entire blog yesterday and I am now convinced that fat is the key.

Had 1 shake yesterday and for dinner two burger patties slathered in mayo with pepper jack cheese and romaine leaves wrapped around them. It was very good and filling.

Will stick to higher fat to achieve these results. I am planning a treat tomorrow.

HOWEVER...I will eat high fat tomorrow with my treats in order to stay on track. I think I want my treat to be ice cream. :)

Day 46 - 204.2 I am very glad the numbers dropped down again.

Yesterday I had zero shakes. My neck has been hurting for over a month and I was preoccupied with pain. I had 3 servings of peanuts (in the jar) and that was 15 carbs. (less carbs than my shakes)

Then for dinner I had 2 hamburger patties dipped in mayo.

Did my bouncer...but no treadmill.

I am taking muscle relaxers at bedtime and now have Tylenol 3 for the I feel pretty loopy and will make the effort to remember to have a shake or two.

202 tomorrow would be fantastic...201 would be even better! :)

Day 45 - 206.8 I drank less water and the numbers dropped. That works for me! lol.

Did my bouncer and the treadmill as well. I am surprised at how weak I am ,.....I have not worked out in quite sometime...but I felt better for getting my butt in gear.

I stuck to my plan yesterday with ease. The only time it is hard to stay on this plan is after I allow myself a treat...then its a downward spiral. I am not sure how to deal with that as I feel I should allow myself a treat once per is damn hard for me on the weekends!

Day 44 - 209.6

Ok...none too pleased with this number. I did drink the equivalent of 6.25 pounds worth of water I must have been more dehydrated than I thought. So I am up 4.6 pounds. I went to the bathroom constantly yesterday...

Even though my numbers went up, I am continuing with the water because my skin looks younger. I was looking really old these last couple of weeks so I guess the trade off will be higher numbers.

Caveat -  ok...I am going to nix the 5 shakes per day and opt for 3. My reasoning is that 5 shakes amounts to 35 carbs and this is just too high for me....

For example, with three shakes today and my meal tonite I will be just under 25 carbs

3 shakes
3 egg omlette (no milk...cooked in real butter) with 2 tbsp of sour cream and 1/4 cup shredded cheese.

I also will do 10 minutes on my bouncer tonight...I was too tired this morning to get on the rebounder.

Day 43 - 205 this is better than I expected after two weeks off plan.

I am very excited about the new schedule I made for myself. Here it is:

8 -12.5 oz servings of water per day
5 shakes
10 minutes of bouncer in the AM
60 minutes of treadmill after work
1 lean/green meal
Deep clean 1 room of my house per day

I can tell you already I am at 4 servings of water for the day so far and I am shocked at how much I am running to the restroom!

Water has always been my nemisis and I am consistently dehydrated. Well, after reading a ton about it...I am betting big that this is going to really speed my weight loss. AND improve the look of my skin. I have been looking so OLD lately and I know it is because I never drink any water at all!

Day 29 - No weigh ins all weekend

Ok...short post. I was really sick all weekend and ate whatever I wanted. I will not weigh in as I know some damage was done. I will weigh in on Thursday. Unfortunately..TOM is on its way again so I will be retaining water by the time I weigh in. BOOOO Francie. BOO..very mad at myself. But I did enjoy the treats!

I made it back into the 100's!!!!!!!!! This is awesome. I have strep throat so I will not be doing any cartwheels...HA HA. Just a short post as my keyboard at home is pretty crappy.

Day 25 - 200.2 that was a horrible tease! I am dying to see 199 and poof...the dream is gone. Well, I can only attribute this to too many carbs yesterday.

I had two shakes. I had Chicken with taco seasoning (far too  many carbs in those packets...they add SUGAR to them. I will make my own seasoning next time for certain!) I had the taco chicken on romaine hearts with sour cream...I cannot blame the carbs in the romaine hearts as they have fiber.I also had two servings of powdered vitamin C which also has carbs. I would put my carb range at about 40 and lately I have been staying closer to 20-25 carbs.

I KNOW I will be 199 tomorrow.

To recap - in 25 days I have lost exactly 15 pounds. That is still wonderful!!!!!! Especially seeing as how it took me 77 days to lose just 8 pounds. What a joke!

I am off work tomorrow so I will have a short post from home.

Day 24 - 200.4

Very glad for today's weigh in results.

In 24 days, I have lost 14.8 pounds. That breaks down into 3.4 weeks.. which is 4.35 pounds per week so far.

I find this very interesting. On the days I eat more fat...I drop twice the weight.

Yesterday I was still very nauseous. I had only one shake. I went home and took magnesium to settle my belly. I then had 1 can of tuna with about 1 and a half tablespoons or REAL MAYO. About 2 hours later, I was hungry again so I had chicken breast dipped in full fat sour cream. I dropped 1.8 pounds....I am convinced now that the lower the carbs and the higher the fat the better my results. This is the third time that has happened.

I am very excited that tomorrow I will be in the 100's. I have 6 more days in this thirty day period. I am aiming to have a total loss of 20 pounds for this first 30 days. I am aiming for 20 pounds EVERY thirty day period.

I project that by the end of April I will have reached the upper 150's. WOO HOO!

March 2nd will be the 1st day of the second block of 30 days.

Day 23 - no weigh in weigh ins on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday..(today).

I messed up and ate off plan on Sunday night...I have been paying ever since. I got very sick and had gall bladder pain. I shocked my system with pot roast and potatoes...

I know I need a treat once per week for sure. I end up eating off plan over the weekend.

I could not drink a single shake on Monday...had a light dinner and got sick.
I had one shake today and felt very nauseated. So now I am on water. I will do vitamin C and magnesium tonight when I get home. I found after some research that this will probably help...along with alot of water. I am going to weigh in tomorrow.

ELEOTIN...did not work for me. I cannot return it as it is a food product. I recommend skipping it.

I have done some senna tea  a couple times and that seems to be working fine. And much cheaper.

Sorry I have not posted. I just felt too crummy.

.08 pound loss. I am so happy! I feel much better about completing my weekend successfully. I will be in the 201s tomorrow and I cannot wait to see that. I have been wanting to be in the 100s for so long! I will do cartwheels for sure!

Day 19 -203.0

YAY! So very happy when I saw that number on the scale this morning. I had a rough day yesterday and was very hungry. I had a total of 3 shakes and 2 salads. I started to feel bad for the two salads at first but then realized that I really was hungry and did not want to slam my face into the chocolate cake that was still in the fridge from the weekend.

So to review: I have lost 12.2 pounds in 19 days using this diet. For 11.5 weeks prior to starting this I lost only 8 pounds. I am THRILLED at the results. I have been grinning all morning.

Now comes the tricky part....the weekend. In the past, weekends have tripped me up. NOT ANYMORE. This weekend I am staying on target and plan to lose lose lose.

P.S. I did the "math" and at the rate I am losing, I project I will have lost 19.2 pounds this month. Keeping that rate as the base line, I will have lost 57.6 pounds by my 90th day on this diet...SUPER DOOPER!

Day 18 - 204.6

Ok...very glad to see 204. I was pretty hungry yesterday so I had 4 shakes, my lean/green meal which was chicken on baby spinach with regualar dressing and some beef jerky pieces (very little ones). I am certain I will stay on track because that morning weigh in is very important to me. I expect to be 203 tomorrow.

On a different note....all the blizzard snow is melthing AND it is raining so I cannot use water at home. GOD how I hate that! It is the downfall of being on septic. BOO!

Day 17 - 205.4

Okay, so this is what I get for cheating on my diet over the weekend. I am pretty pissed at myself. NO MORE cheating no matter what the occasion. I am still where I was Saturday morning and here it is WEDNESDAY already. UGH!!!!!

 I am going to let go of my disappointment as soon as I finish this post. I DO expect to be into the 204 arena tomorrow morning. I am scheduled to do another dose of Eleotin this evening.

I have only been doing about 3 shakes a day and one lean/green meal. I just do not have the time to do more than that. I am very anxious for warmer weather so that I can start using my treadmill. I have not exercised at all so far and I really  need to use my rebounder everyday. More tomorrow.

Day 16 - NO WEIGH IN

I will weigh in tomorrow. I followed my diet perfectly yesterday and my Eleotin arrived. I took my first packet last night after dinner. It was very bland but did not taste foul or gag me at all. It almost had a pleasant minty type taste...although that is not quite right. It has aloe as an ingredient so I am sure that is what I was tasting. Slight results when I got up this morning but nothing profound. I will see how I fare the rest of the day. I have a waxing appointment tomorrow so I will skip the Eleotin tonight and resume it on Wednesday night. I am excited for my weigh in tomorrow morning. I expect great news. Let's see 204!!!!!!!!!

Day 15 - NO WEIGH IN

You may have noticed that I did not post for Day 14. I indulged too much for my husband's birthday and had some chocolate cake...I paid the price. I had terrible stomach cramps from the sugar overload and I also drank loads of milk. I felt terrible all day sunday and did not want to add to my greif with a number increase. I will more than likely skip weighing in tomorrow as well while I allow my body to get back on track and detox a bit.

I was disappointed that I did not receive my Eleotin either. I am hopeful that I will see it in my mail delivery tonight. If it arrives, I will do my first dose tonight.

I will ofcourse continue to post without my weigh ins.

Day 13 - 205.2 I did not hit the 204 mark like I had hoped...but still wonderful progress. Today I will be indulging...tho not really. I will still not be having any carbs. For my husband's birthday, we are all going to our favorite restaraunt. I will have lobster with melted butter....YUMMY.

I am waiting for an order I placed for a colon cleanse. It was reviewed by my friend Impatient Dieter and she said it worked wonders. Anytime I change my way of eating, I tend to get constipated so I am pretty anxious for my order to arrive. I will review the product on the blog.

Day 12 - 206.0

Fantastic loss! So very, very happy.

I had three shakes yesterday, Chicken over baby spinach with full fat dressing and some beef jerky. This way of eating is very easy for me. I had put off doing this diet due to fear of giving up chewing and also letting go of my pop addiction. I must say that once I psyched myself up for it everything fell into place.

For years I have put on weight and tried desperately to lose it with the low fat way of eating and counting calories. Unbeknownst to me, this was a high carb diet which causes insulin resistance and actually makes you FAT. It had worked when I was younger so I thought that my body just must be broken. Thankfully it was just my thinking that was out of service. Thanks to about a hundred hours of research, I have found the information that is out there for everyone to utilize. I am so grateful for the internet. :)

Happy dieting everyone. I feel so good to be getting lighter everyday. It is truly liberating.

Day 11 - 207.6

Woo hoo! Very excited about the 207 mark. I only managed two shakes yesterday. I was pretty busy and I had chicken over raw baby spinach with full fat dressing. It was delicious! One of my sisters started the shakes as well and that will add to my motivation for certain. I expect to hit 206 tomorrow. I am so jazzed up that I am getting near to the 100's again. I know that by the end of May I will be into the 150's. This will be the first summer of many to come that I will feel comfortable wearing shorts and no sleeve shirts!!!!!!! I cannot wait.

It happens to be -10 outside so summer is a thought I am holding in my mind to keep me going.

I forgot to add...I had two pieces of beef jerky (small ones) to tide me over until I could cook my chicken. I oiled my pan with real butter by the made the chicken come out perfect!

Day 10 - 209

Tom pretty much gone. Hopefully another pound drop tomorrow. I was sad to see the number not quite so low as prior to TOM...but it's ok! I did not do enough shakes OR water the past couple days. I was feeling crappy and did not stay on task. Back on task now and raring to go. I expect to see 207 tomorrow morning and cannot wait to report that to everyone. Have a great day!

Will be to bed early tonight I hope...had a long night with one of my kids (doggie kid) and was late today due to doctor for him and will have plenty of cleaning to do when I get home...but after that it will be snoozeville for me!

Day 8 - TOM still here

I have decided to wait to weigh in until TOM is gone. It is too disappointing to see the increase in numbers on the scale. :) Will still post to keep track of days on diet.

Also, I ordered a colon cleanse that is recommended by my friend Impatient Dieter. She gives it a great review and I am going to trust her information and do this as well. I will detail my experience here. I have only just ordered it today. I do hope it arrives by Friday.

Day 6 - 208

Last night I had colonic for the first time. It was very cleannsing. When I got home, I weighed 1 pound more due to all the water. It worked very well. I was very tired afterward and slept very deeply.

I had  3 shakes and for dinner 2 eggs fried eggs in butter. I am so excited by the 1.6 pound loss. At this rate, I should be in the 100's by this coming Friday!!!!!!

Day 5 - 209.6

Excellent! Numbers went back down!!!!!!!!! So yesterday I only had time to have 2 shakes. I was preoccupied at work. I was very hungry when I got home so I cooked some frozen shrimp and had that with raw baby spinach with some ranch dressing. (Very little as I really just loved the taste of the shrimp.) I sauteed the shrimp in real butter with some garlic powder. Then I had about 4 ounces of chicken that I had leftover and dipped that in real mayonaise. I was concerned that my numbers would go higher...but I know that with high protein...high fat tends to be what acts as a catalyst. Needless to say, I am very pleased.

I am going to have a colonic tonight. I have never had one before. I do know that this diet is constipating me and I will use this as a way to combat that. I will do just the one session and after that I will purchase some senna tea to use on the weekends to help keep things moving.

Total loss since Monday = 5.6 pounds! Yahoo..

Day 4 - 211.8 the numbers increased. That is to be expected since TOM is on the way...still late but I have all the symptoms. Spent the day yesterday indoors as there was a blizzard. Not much else to report except that I believe I will ask for DietDirect to allow me to return the Vanilla flavor. It really is terrible to drink. YUCK!

Day 3 - 210.4

This is amazing! Especially since I am still waiting for T.O.M....who by the way, is late! Almost 2 more pounds lost. I am very excited. Continued the plan yesterday. I was able to do all seven shakes and my  lean/green meal for dinner was the same as yesterday.

We had a blizzard so I am stuck at home today...if I can unbury the shovel I will get my exercise clearing a path on the sidewalk and driveway. Otherwise it looks as if I will be indoors today.

On another note, I feel extra pretty since I now have a giant, ugly cold sore on my lip! What a treat, right? :)

Day 2 - 212.2

WOO HOO! Three pounds lost in one day. I am certain it is primarily water...but who cares! I love seeing those numbers go down.

So, I only managed to do 5 shakes yesterday rather than 7. I would have done 6 total, but the vanilla flavor is just disgusting. I will have to use those as pudding just to get rid of the three boxes I purchased. I love the Chocolate Cream flavor and the Mocha is "ok". I made sure to drink my water. I do also drink black coffee while at work and Diet Snapple Raspberry and Lemon Tea. I had 3 ounces of chicken on baby spinach with 1 tablespoon of dressing for my "lean green" meal at dinner time.

I only managed to do 3 minutes on my rebounder for exercise. I was very tired and still fighting an infection. I started an antibiotic last night so that should whip me into shape. I plan to do 20 minutes of bouncing per day until its warm enough to go in my garage and walk on my treadmill.

Day 1 - 215.2

This is the first day of my weight loss. Please be advised that due to TOM my weight may drop quickly towards the end of this week by about 3 pounds. :)

I had my first shake at 6:45 am and I found the consistency to be thicker than I cared for. For my next shake I will add colder water and maybe add a couple of ounces. I was out of ice at home but I will buy some tonight as I think that will add texture.

I chose 3 flavors from Diet Direct. Mocha, Chocolate Cream and Vanilla. I will rate the flavors after today as I am trying all three.

Shipment due today and a mistake I made....

I checked my email and my shipment is due to arrive today. I will still be starting on Monday the 31st of January. I have no followers to this blog as of yet. I think it is actually better that no one is reading this because I am sure it will allow me to be more candid.

I would like to note that since I have chosen my start date I have been eating what I want. I am not over doing it, but I am eating the things I know I would crave so that I get it out of my system. I had an odd choice today......I had McDonald's for breakfast. I now have the worst headache and stomach ache. I also feel very tired and crabby now. I wish I had skipped that little is a lesson for the future!

How I am doing it.

I will be using (as soon as they arrive) protein meal-replacement shakes. I ordered from I chose to use Wonder Slim based on a recommendation from a successful fellow dieter that I have been following on You Tube and on her blog. Her You Tube channel is ImpatientDieter. Introduction and preparation

I am starting this blog after being inspired by another blogger. I will be documenting my weight loss daily to share with other dieters.

I will be doing a meal-replacement diet that is primarily liquid. I know you will enjoy sharing the experience with me!
